Finding a replacement for an obsolete Denison or Vickers pump

Many older installations run on Parker Denison or Vickers pumps that are no longer available. This is how you find a suitable alternative.

Does your installation run on a Parker Denison or Vickers pump that is no longer in production? Then you do not need to rebuild the system. Interchangeable alternatives exist for most series, such as Veljan vane pumps in Denison style and Metaris pumps in Vickers style. The most important step is correctly identifying the existing pump. A photo of the type plate is usually enough. If the plate is unreadable, the dimensions of the shaft, the flange and the ports help to determine the type. Not sure about the right replacement? Send us a photo via the quotation form or call one of our specialists. We will find out which alternative fits, even if the original is decades old.
