Herbert Hänchen GmbH of Ostfildern near Stuttgart has been building hydraulic cylinders since 1925 and is a third-generation family business, fully made in Germany with around 80 percent in-house production. The programme includes compact industrial cylinders series 120 and 300, standard cylinders to DIN/ISO, servo-hydraulic test cylinders series 320 for highly dynamic testing, lightweight H-CFRP cylinders made of carbon fibre composite and the Ratio-Clamp clamping units for mechanically locking rods. Patented sealing and guiding systems such as Servocop and Servofloat ensure low-friction, long-life operation.
